We see a lot of Miata’s these days. They are affordable, fun, and have an aftermarket some other platforms can only dream of. So in bringing you this particular example, we figured it would be good to bring something a bit different. While this car is bright, low, and has many of the things you expect to see on an import in the “scene”, the parts that give this car its final form are all unique in their own right.

Covered in a vibrant blue coat of paint, Porsche Mexico Blue to be exact, this Miata doesn’t rest upon some wide lipped BBS’s or a set of the go-to-classic RPF1′s but rather a set of Compomotive MO1580′s. For those of you not aware, Compomotive is a maker of race and rally spec wheels that have adorned countless legendary racers. It is nice to see something with a bit more of a performance background on a car designed for spirited driving. Stripped and fitted with roll bar, coilovers, LSD, bucket seats and a few bolt-on engine mod’s, this Miata continues the performance theme it’s paint and wheels alude to. Don’t let the ride-height and camber fool you, this roadster is more than likely still a blast to drive.

ISOXS:N Presents East Coast Fitment Festival (NC) Updated

Posted By Ryan / November, 16, 2012 / 0 comments

For some people the end of the car show season is a somber time, but on this day ISO, Stance Nation, And Streetwise Drift made sure that the 2012 season for the east coast went out with a bang. I have been blessed to have the privilege to be with ISO for the majority of the season, attending so many shows, and in my opinion this was best show of the season. I mean if Forza Horizon could possibly be real this was the day for it. Streetwise gave us a great season ending show, NASCAR Petty Experience was there running around the speedway, even the infield go kart track was in full motion. Unfortunately I forgot to get a media pass for drifting so I was unable to cover that. Besides all the racing going on around, the show was overflowing with amazingly built cars; giving us a last look before they get tucked away for winter. This event was the most fun I’ve had at a car show since going to Formula Drift in West Palm Beach, and I truly wish every event was like this or that I could do this event every weekend. Needless to say ISOxStanceNationxStreetwise drift have raised the bar and I can not wait till next season.

Simply Clean 4

Posted By Dipz / November, 13, 2012 / 0 comments

In a traditional method, Simply Clean holds their annual event every early November. Being the fourth installment, and nicknamed ‘SC4′, Simply Clean has evolved with their fan base and the car scene to accommodate a bigger location: Destination Daytona, in Ormond Beach, FL.

The best thing about these bigger meets and events has to be seeing your friends. With Simply Clean’s motto being a strict adherence to ‘It’s not a competition.’, friends brought family, pets, co-workers, and anyone else that could take the beautiful day off from work. However, with so many people deciding to come, there was a slight hiccup in traffic flow at the early moments of the show opening but it worked itself out.

To top off a fun day with your friends, the weather was absolutely gorgeous for a day of Fall in Florida; light breeze with blue skies and the sun barely noticeable unless you looked up to remember it was there.

Check out our photo gallery for even more images from the event when you click here!

We also welcome you to “LIKE” the V2LAB friend and fanpage, where we continue to bring you exciting local and sourced features and event coverage!
