I didn’t realize that we were going to be parking inside the convention center for the show, I guess they didn’t have enough cars entered in the judging that they just let everyone in. The thing is, they failed to inform us that we weren’t allowed to leave until 9pm, unless it was for a medical emergency! We got in there at like 2, and it was awesome. There were all the cars at Dubjam, the aircooled busses across the street, and there was an aircooled rally going on or something too. There was even a skate jam going on which was insane! This kid, who couldn’t have been older than 14, did a mctwist on the extension of the miniramp! Anyway, it was a lot of fun but, around 6-7 everyone was getting restless. They refused to open the garage door for whatever reason to let us out, with their excuse being “we told you if you were coming in here you had to stay until 9pm” which I’m sure they did tell everyone, everyone that was in the judged class, not the rest of us who they let in because they didn’t have enough cars. People were getting really frustrated, revving their engines, yelling, honking their horns, and then when it came time to give out the awards, they couldn’t even find some of them! Hopefully next year they will get their act together.
With that said, there were awesome cars, in an awesome setting, and I think everyone had a good time (until the end).
