Caution. Beware of Low.

While looking around my daily sites I came across some photos taken by a good friend of mine. Ian Kosiek (or Boosted20th, as people refer to him on the boards) has been in the Dub game for a long, long time and since he started he’s been getting a lot of attention. With everything from a full black R32 interior, shaved body, custom bumpers, super-stance, etc, etc, etc…he’s definitely doing his thing.

At the Simply Clean show, he mentioned that he’s still Static Dropped and hit an Armadillo which cracked his custom GLI lip. While looking through his Flickr I noticed that he swapped that one out for something a little more simple. Throughout the last year or so I’ve seen people get in to the “Flush” and “Stanced” scene knowing nothing about it. I’ve also seen a major transformation from Hondas with bodykits going to more of the JDM style, which is good news for everyone. People are finally realizing that less is more. Though you might say “But Ian, Your old lip made your front end lower”…he is ahead of the curve and it couldn’t look better.

2010 is the year of change …I see things changing from Air Suspension and laying frame to clean, descent static drops. Mark my words.

And a camera phone shot of the damage. RIP Armadillo.

Caution. Beware of Low.
