Considered as some of the biggest business days in motorsports, the 24th Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show was held this year from December 1-3, 2011. Arriving to Orlando, Florida from 65+ countries, 40,000 buyers absorbed the displays and information that sourced the new technology that will become keys to achieving goals and winning races next year. Who are they? Buyers for tens of thousands of racing retail stores, warehouse distribution centers, professional race engine builders, race car production companies, etc. Taking up 700,000 square feet of the Orange County Convention Center, more than 1,000+ companies displayed their latest advances in racing products and race engineering.

Featured artistic and beautifully were many engine parts, suspension components, data acquisition systems, safety gear, enhanced metal alloys and coatings, machining equipment, race electronics and other race and enthusiast paraphernalia. This was all part of the self-proclaimed world’s largest racing trade show. Thousands of professional race teams, from NASCAR Cup teams to NHRA Top Fuel, ALMS to Grand Am, Japan to the UK, send buyers to ensure they are current with today’s race technology. The PRI Trade Show is ranked as the 48th largest trade show in the United States by Tradeshow Week magazine.

From a media perspective, one of the most incredible things about events like this is the marketing and ability to reach out to our international and nationwide friends we don’t get to see much past flying e-mails, magazine clips, and Facebook photographs. You get to meet and interview top engineers and retailers from companies such Precision [Turbo & Engine], Seibon Carbon, BREMBO, Vibrant Performance, PUMA Racing, GoPro, and Titan Motorsports just to name a few. Everyone enjoys healthy, friendly competition and this is the perfect place to see your international rivals, shake hands with them, and ask directly on how they help you compete in their league.
