Before I get things started, I would like to apologize for not getting as much coverage as I wanted to. This is because   for most of the weekend, I shot video to contribute to the official Final Bout DVD. The DVD is going to be incredible, so I would definitely check it out when it’s finished!

Going into this event, I knew it was going to be awesome, but it turned out to be way beyond awesome. Somehow, we gathered the internet and assembled in a small town in Wisconsin, called Shawano. You may ask, why Wisconsin? The answer is an awesome track called USA International Raceway. This track is so unique, because of all the elevation changes, and great layout. It really makes you feel like you’re on a rollercoaster.

The main focus of this event was great style and team unity. If you wanted to learn how to stunt, then Final Bout was the place to be. The whole experience was just mind blowing. We met our future best friends, we had tons of fun, we drank tons of beer, and wished the weekend never came to an end. I want to congratulate team High Fade for getting 1st place in the competition. Even though they had V8’s, they all had good looking cars, great team unity, and they ALL drove flawlessly. Team Animal Style blew me away with how radical their cars looked. Julians S14 was probably my favorite car at the event. I just want to give props to every team that came. You guys really showed how serious you took this event, and it payed off.

Besides getting together for an unforgetable event, I hope this whole Final Bout thing really has an impact on the US drift culture. This “Missle car” era in the US  needs to come to an end. Having a car that looks like a POS does not make you cool, it just looks like you dont respect your car. We need more pimpy, well executed drift cars in the US, so please, take notes.

I would like to thank EVERYONE that contributed to Final Bout in any way. Whether it was being a judge, driver, media person, staff, or whatever, you all helped make this a special event. Lastly, the spectators deserve a big thank you for driving all over to watch some of the coolest drift cars in the US. Unfortunately we have to wait a whole year until the next Final Bout event!
