I have known Chris “Subi” Langer for a few months now, and have had the privilege of being around to see this amazing Evo X come to life. From when it was completely stock, to being slammed on Varrstoen’s, to becoming the Evolution that it has transformed into presently.

Chris has been in the stance game for many years, had many cars and is proud member of Insane Stance and Offset (ISO). He got his nickname from sick Subaru’s he once had.

This Evo is one of a kind with its staggered Work Meister’s (19×10 -12, 19×11 -7), slammed on D2′s, with Bride seats and Takata harness’s wrapping up the interior.

To say this Evo X is possibly the most aggressive on the east coast would be an understatement. In all honesty, I have not seen a single picture of any other more aggressive in the entire nation.

Some of may notice the different shades of red the car appears to take. That is the difficulty of having two different photographers capture a very tricky colored car in fairly harsh lighting, but that is simply part of the game.

What started as a bright and early morning for my friends and I marked the beginning of our four-hour journey to Virginia Beach, VA for Springfest 3 at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. This was my first time at Springfest, so I was unsure of what to expect since it wasn’t a big event volume wise, but what a fun day it was. What I was very surprised by was the array of cars sitting in front of the Sportplex, everything from a Civic Type-R to a beautifully restored ’69 Camaro SS convertible. Not just cars were showing up either; many stretched sports bikes were rolling around alongside with some amazing mopeds. Springfest had many quality cars to peep at though and, to prove the point, the crewmen of Insane Stance and Offset (“ISO”) were there. Bringing it hard as always, ISO took home the most trophies of the event including everything from ‘Best Asain AWD’ with Chris Lagner’s stanced EVO X, to ‘Best In Show’ with Zeb Magsi’s sexy GS300. I had a lot of fun at this event and saw much rare and amazing stuff, and I definitely can’t wait to go next year!

For this task he gave us a call at Jotech Motorsports. He worked his way through our GT-R packages and/or “Stages”. From 3, to 4, and finally to the top of the line street car package: Stage 5. With a Jotech Fully-Built motor, Jotech Fully-Built transmission/clutch, a quick-spooling HKS GT800 Twin Turbo kit, a Jotech modified AMS huge fuel system, and just about everything else available later we dyno’d the car out at 942AWHP on our DynoCom dyno.

For the finishing touch we contracted HRE Wheels to make a one off set of their forged 593RS wheels with a gloss black barrel and satin black face. I just finished up this photo shoot for HRE showcasing their awesome wheels and the build that’s finally now completed and ready for delivery to the big mean green guy that works for the Avengers…

Kings Performance is known for building fast cars, This GTR (owned by Fernando of Kings Performance) is no different. Dynoing in at 977whp & 832ft/tq – you can’t help but wonder what it would be like to drive something like that everyday! And yes, this is Fernando’s Daily Driver! After this article was shot – Fernando pulled the twin Precision 5857s off the car and swapped to a quick spooling twin GT28R set up, which according to him will net somewhere around 800whp. Stay up with us – we’ll be releasing a video soon!

Tot’s C63 has made its way around the internet a good few times, We first saw it pop up on Mayday Garage, I personally saw it in person at the Autocombine Event in Jacksonville, Florida. I knew I had to shoot it right there before I lost the opportunity. So 20 minutes later, I had the feature shot – within an hour and was back to doing work at the show. Hopefully the pictures do the car justice.

It was a different day for me since I have been so used to shooting slammed stance cars. But when presented with this beautiful EK I couldn’t pass up taking some pictures of it. These days the trend is to go as low as you can with some sick offsetted wheels, but Adam keeps this old school I guess you would say with a full purpose built civic (which he does auto-x here in the NC area) with a K20r swap, fully built suspension, and every hybrid racing part you could think of is on this car. Every little thing is done to this car from its 24k gold valve cover to takata harnesses, but he says he isn’t done yet. At the end of the day i still had not heard the pure sound of his K20r so I kindly asked to hear it when we parted ways….spinning all the way through third.

We recently got a call for Enjuku Racing – asking if we had sometime to come up and see Pat Goodin’s Drift-Car, which will be appearing in upcoming Formula D races. This car may not be unfamiliar to some of you long-time Versiontwo followers and for good reason. Pat’s Mk6 GTI is back and better than ever. Forgoing it’s frame-banging and arch-burning roots, Pat decided to go with an ORT air setup for this newest iteration. Why the two sets of wheels you might ask? That’s just how Pat does things. Never content with a set of wheels, his collection grows and grows. Who knows what shoes will adorn his car next. In the meantime, enjoy these pictures from my much delayed shoot in Wilmington, NC.

They day before Import Alliance’s Spring 2012 meet, SOUTHRNFRESH held a preliminary ‘Welcome to Atlanta’ car meet to warm-heartedly greet anyone coming in town and passing by. The event was held at Mainstream Performance in Dallas, GA on a beautiful Spring day. There’s absolutely no way that I can accurately describe what went down, mainly because I was blown away by all the clean cars that came. There was absolutely no beef, bickering, or bullshit – nothing but love. Some of our TeamV2LAB vehicles made the journey as well as our local affiliates from Kindred Impulse; although it was nice to see familiar faces, we had the pleasure of meeting many new friends and fans, as well as old Internet heroes and car builds. We did view a few cars in the parking lot sporting our V2LAB stickers from various periods of production, old and new, and we thank you guys for the support and love outside of Florida from the bottom of our hearts!

This weekend marked the first automotive gathering of Import Alliance’s 2012 Spring meet in Georgia, with the follow up being in the Summer at North Carolina. Enthusiasts from throughout the U.S. are well aware that this is the East Coast’s premier event to show off your goods. The morning began with a cold front bringing a 40° degree wake up call and wind chills driving the temp down even colder. The day went by beautiful and ended at a brisk 60°, which made me regret remembering that I’m from Florida. While the weather didn’t deter attendees, the Atlanta Police Department decided to become party poopers and enforced the idea of making everyone leave by 2:00pm by disallowing folks from returning back from lunch and preventing further entry. Insane Stance & Offset, one of the show’s primary supporting vendors, definitely demolished the show with their VIP and import rooted militia standing firm in the center of the parking lot of Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves. We’re looking forward to the next Import Alliance meet in Summer where we will be once again in attendance.
